It was probably the biggest, most important day of your life and you looked fantastic!

And you’ll never forget the compliments your friends and family gave you about your wonderful wedding dress.

But now what are you going to do with it? Amazingly, most women put their fabulous dresses away in a box or a cupboard, never to be worn again. Surely this isn’t a fitting way to treat such a special outfit?

Well, Cancer Research Wales has come up with an exciting way to put this calamitous state of affairs to rights and raise money for our pioneering work at the same time.

We are asking brides to donate their wedding dress to help raise money for the fight against cancer. And we want brides-to-be to come to our spacious and luxurious Bridal Suite to see these dresses, try them on and - hopefully - buy one.

Choosing a wedding dress is a special occasion in itself and so to make it the memorable event it should be we’ve made sure our Bridal Suite is spacious, private and luxurious.

Of course, brides-to-be will expect our stock to be top quality and good as new and the range to be extensive and on sale at a fraction of the price they’d pay in other bridal suites … well we’re sure we won’t disappoint anyone.

When we opened the shop in April 2011 we had a several hundred wedding dresses in stock. Many were second-hand, generously donated by brides who’d had their own big day and now wanted those beautiful dresses to be appreciated by others - and to help a great cause at the same time!

But many other dresses are brand new - never worn - but generously donated some of the wedding industry’s best-known designers, including Amanda Wyatt, Ronald Joyce and Mon Cherie.

The bridal suite also stocks donated mother-of-the-bride outfits, accessories and bridesmaid dresses.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of those people who have donated our fantastic stock.

We know you’re not going to settle for anything but the best for your big day so we’ve pulled out all the stops to make sure your visit to the Cancer Research Wales Bridal Suite is a fabulous experience.

Our specialist bridal boutique is one of the few places you can go and see such a wide range of top quality wedding dresses. It is spacious with a luxurious area for brides to browse and try on the gowns in total privacy, in the same way as any other bridal boutique.
