Cancer Research Wales has Christmas all wrapped up
November 7, 2011
Shoppers looking to get Christmas all wrapped up this year, can help fight cancer at the same time, by visiting the our Christmas gift wrapping service this December.
In return for a donation to the charity, Cancer Research Wales volunteers will quickly and professionally wrap gifts on the spot, at their stand at Queens Arcade in Cardiff city centre.
The service will run on the ground floor of the shopping centre around the Christmas tree from Sunday 18th December up until Christmas Eve.
All money raised by the Christmas gift wrapping service will help fund cancer research projects here in Wales, including research into new treatments for breast and prostate cancer.
Liz Andrews, Cancer Research Wales Charity Director, said: “We’ve provided the wrapping service for a number of years now and it always proves hugely popular. We raised a fantastic £2,000 last year alone.
This is a great chance for busy shoppers to get their gifts wrapped and ready before they even get home, and also to support a worthy cause at the same time.”
