Embrace the charitable Christmas spirit with CRW cards
28 Nov 2013
With less than a month to go until Christmas Day, people can embrace the charitable spirit of the season with Cancer Research Wales Christmas cards.
Every year Wales’ indigenous cancer charity sells thousands of its specially designed bilingual Christmas cards, which have raised almost £40,000 in previous years.
This year, the Cancer Research Wales cards feature designs such as the classic red robin, Raymond Briggs-inspired snowmen and traditional Christmas puddings.
The cards can be bought online at website www.crw.org.uk, over the phone on 029 2031 6976 and from the outpatients department in Velindre Hospital.
They will also be on sale in Cancer Research Wales’ shops on Penlline Road in Whitchurch, Talbot Road in Talbot Green, Beulah Road in Rhiwbina and in Castle Court Shopping Centre in Caerphilly.
Liz Andrews, Charity Director for Cancer Research Wales, said: “Our Christmas cards are so popular and often sell out. We constantly have to restock.
“The cards are a great way for people to support the charity and help us to continue to fund cancer research in Wales.”
All the money raised from the sale of the Cancer Research Wales Christmas cards goes towards funding vital research into cancer treatments.
