Cancer Research Wales

The new Cancer Research Wales Bridal Suite has opened in Taff Street, Pontypridd, stocking high-quality new and pre-owned wedding dresses, bridal accessories, bridesmaid dresses and mother-of-the bride outfits.

The concept for the new store is based on the success of the original Bridal Suite in Whitchurch, Cardiff; a spacious, private and luxurious showroom, with the stylish flooring, lighting and changing areas customers would expect from any quality wedding boutique.

Brides-to-be can expect to find an extensive range of dresses on sale at a fraction of the price than in other stores, from some of the wedding industry’s top designers.

All the money raised through the sale of the Bridal Suite dresses will stay in Wales to fund vital cancer research projects.

Founded in 1966, the indigenous Welsh charity funds vital and pioneering cancer research at research facilities across Wales, including Cancer Research Wales’ research laboratory based at the Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff.

Speaking about the new opening, Cancer Research Wales Charity Director Liz Andrews said: “So many brides have told us how choosing their wedding dress from the Cancer Research Wales Bridal Suite has made the experience even more special and we are really excited to be opening our second showroom, giving even more brides the chance to help in the fight against cancer as part of their wedding celebrations.”
