Based at the Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff, the team organize and support many of the activities necessary to make sure cancer research funded in Wales is carried out by the medical scientists and doctors in Wales.
We hope that the events and personal stories on this website inspire you to donate, participate or just volunteer in the many ways available to ensure that high quality cancer research is kept in Wales.

The Rotary District Celebrates 100 years of Success!
District 1150 comprising of 74 Rotary Clubs around South East and West Wales has adopted Cancer Research Wales and in particular the important research project into prostate cancer as one of their preferred charities.

Fashion ShowHugely successful Fashion Show at Cardiff University raises £8000
 The Cancer Research Team held a highly successful fashion show at the Great Hall, Cardiff University on the 19th October where Nigel Malpas Fire Service do the nearly full montyWalker and Rupert Moon presided over an event of where professional models, children, recovered cancer patients and the Malpas Fire Service strutted their stuff down the catwalk. It was all about fun, fashion and the collection of donations for cancer research in Wales and with over £8000 it was deemed a success.
