We are always in need of volunteers to help with specific fund raising events, such as coffee mornings, raffles at work etc. For those with more time and a long term objective to help Cancer Research Wales there is the opportunity to become an area co-ordinator. These people help volunteers and encourage others to become volunteers. Remember that CRW is an efficient organisation giving more than 96% of donations to research projects that have been `peer reviewed' by experts from cancer centres throughout the UK and that only those projects with the highest rating are funded. | Our New Laboratory Appeal is currently raising money to replace our 40 year old research laboratories. This year we Paraquest are arranging Sponsored Parachute Jumps to raise money for this campaign. We also held a Classic Car fair and raffle this summer which was very successful and raised over �8,000 towards our �1.5 million target.
